Ms. Katherine Yap is the Chief Executive of Maxwell Chambers.
Maxwell Chambers is the world's first integrated dispute resolution complex housing both best-of-class hearing facilities and support services, as well as top international Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) institutions.
With the maturing of markets and the growing sophistication of businesses, awareness and use of ADR has been rapidly rising in the region. Singapore, well-known for its impartiality and integrity, world-class ADR institutions and outstanding dispute resolution professionals, is recognized as a preferred venue for ADR in Asia.
Prior to joining Maxwell Chambers, Katherine was Director of Marketing and Communications for Laguna National Golf and Country Club and The Pines Club. Her impressive portfolio includes managing club operations with Group Exklusiv – Resorts and Singapore Swimming Club.
A firm believer in delivering value and excellence for her clients whilst building firm and productive relationships, Katherine has taken on important leadership positions in the areas of corporate branding, marketing, public relations and business development in her successful career.
Katherine first joined Maxwell Chambers as the Head of Communications and Customer Relations. A driven and tenacious visionary, she was also one of the pioneers who spearheaded the establishment of Maxwell Chambers as an Arbitration Centre in 2009, the first of its kind in Asia. She was promoted to General Manager in 2011 before assuming her current position as the Chief Executive in 2016.
Besides extensive experience in marketing communications, Katherine is a certified Associate Mediator from Singapore Mediation Centre and an Appointed Mediator for Community Mediation Centre. She is also a certified Fire Safety Manager.
Katherine holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing).
Head of Finance & HR
Ms. Angelaine Lim is the Head of Finance & HR department at Maxwell Chambers.
With more than 10 years of experience at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), Angelaine is no stranger to the ADR industry. As their Finance & HR Director, she had played a key role in leading the team on various important projects and ensuring that daily operations are smooth in the Finance & HR department.
Effectively bilingual, Angelaine holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) and has professional qualifications from ACCA.
Mr. Kelvin Lee is the Head (Operations) at Maxwell Chambers.
Over the course of his career, Kelvin has garnered experience in operations, customer service, sales and the civil service. He has also been exposed to various industries and functions within organisations. An early adopter of cutting-edge technology to improve efficacy, Kelvin is an ardent proponent of streamlining processes and cost efficiency. He is assertive and enthusiastic in team building, and strives for exceptional service delivery to all customers.
Kelvin graduated with a Master’s in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the Tourism Institute Australia, and a Bachelor of Tourism Management from Glasgow Caledonian University (UK). He also holds a post-grad certification from Monash University.
